How to change Nokia N95 8Gb langauge packs?
So you don’t like your the default language that comes with your N95 8Gb phone? Want to get your preferred language? Here is how to do it.
But before we start, you must first get Nemesis Service Suite and the latest Nokia Software Updater. We need these tools because we are dealing with the product code. We want to change the product code so we can download the language that we want from Nokia server.
- Connect your phone to your PC.
- Open Nemesis Service Suite and click on “Scan for new device”.
- Click on “Phone info” icon and click “Scan”.
- Change the product code. I have listed the product code below.
- Press “Write” to change your product code.
- Close Nemesis Service Suite and run Nokia Software Updater.
- Update your phone firmware and wait until the update process finished.
- Your phone will has your preferred language after your phone restarted. Good luck!

hi, before i came to this website, i have already updated my n95 8gb to version V15. however, i would now like to change the language pack to chinese which is the emerging asia code. i have downloaded nemesis and changed the code. but its not changing to chinese. is it because that i have earlier updated the phone? thanks.

Everything ok with the NSS but when I connect it with the usb cable from the box of the phone I have to choose from the phone screen to:
1) Mass storage
2) Webcam
3) COM port
I choose 3 (COM port) and I see on my PC a message baloon “MT6227 found”.
I follow the instructions for the drivers from the directory of NSS but I can’t install the drivers.
When I start the NSS I get this message:

I have EURO 3 Language in may N95 8Gb but I hate Portuguese from Portugal. I wonder if anyone knows how to modify the files translated to change some word? If someone has firmware I thank the Portuguese Brazil language.
Changing the Produce Code some how caused the Manufacture Month to change, it changed from 48.something to 53.something. Is this normal and expected behavior?
Hi Joyce, try changing the code to #0555180: SINGAPORE, I’m using a Singapore set and the pre-installed languages are English, Simplified Chinese and Melayu. Hope this is What you are looking for.

First, remove all program about Nokia (Nemesis Service Suite, Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Software Update, PC Connectivity Solution, Cable Drivers, Nokia Modem Drivers, etc.). Restart your computer.
After that, install older version of Nokia PC Suite, if it ask a new version available on internet during or after installation, do not update Nokia PC Suite from internet before re-branding your phone. (And don’t re-install Nokia Software Update). You can easily find an older version of Nokia PC Suite with Google search. Or use Nokia Software CD came with your mobile phone. Or try this link:

Than install Nemesis Service Suite and try again. It should be work.

Hello! Changed language without any problems. Software updater does sad that I already have latest version but I just selected an option to overwrite it anyway. And after that I had the language I want. Thanks a lot.

I have Nokia N95 8 Gb and I want to add Finnish language, I did as you have adviced and everything seemed to turn allright, but as I added “code language” EURO2 which should include Finnish, I instead get Philippine,Indonesian and English instead…I hope someone can help with how I can rewrite again code language, and add Finnish language…

When I click on the “scan for new device”, nothing appears. I do not know what to do, thank you for your help.
This problem is solved. It was something wrong with connection, but new problem has appeared. When I click on the “scan”, on the left side down, where is written “scan for product..”, it shows me “scan for product.. error”. Could you help me somebody, please, thank you very much

I am having the same problem as EDDY up the top. My n95 8gb has the prod code 0550803, i think its made in czech republic??? The software on the phone is totally different to anyone elses n95 that i know and when i try to connect it to my PC, it reads it as a USB device. Not a phone. Ive downloaded ALL appropriate drivers/PC Suites/NSS, but none of them pick up that there is a phone connected. I am assuming this is because of the weird firmware on the phone. Can anyone please help me??? All i want to do is have the computer recognise that it is a phone so i can then change the product code straight away!!!

Oh yeh and when i try to factory reset it, the code isn’t 12345, or if i type in *#7780# or *#7370# it does NOTHING. But when i type *#0000# it send the appropriate infor on the phone.

Only two options available “TRY TO SEARCH AGAIN or CANCEL”.
So far everyone knows how to change codes . What about finishing part – UPDATE. How can you change language code two or three times to different language codes?
Answer to MArek (and all the others): Nemesis will not detect your phone if Nokia software is running.You have to TURN ON your phone (out of stand by and keyboard is not supposed to be locked) if you want nss to recognize it.Also make sure to do this : unplug phone from USB and than plug it back again.Make sure computer detects it and make sure to chose “PC suite” option on your phone.
i have a problem with my NSS after i change my product code on my nokia n95 8gb and close my NSS i have an error message saying

Roman-you have to know which version of n95 you have to be able to use right code. There is N95-1 n95-2 n95-3 n95-4.
I red about your problem on other forums: Try installing older nokia software update.Should fix your problem.

Tried many times according to above guide to change my language to dutch. Wether I enter code 0550359 Euro 2 or 0549487 euro 1 I keep having the same language option but no dutch. When I check again with Nemesis I see that the code has changed but not the language options in the phone
