Another great theme that I want to share with you all today. This theme is based on Tango Style Guidelines and Tango Icon Theme. It is very lite and very cute with its own icons.

Tango Symbian60 Theme developed by mszulecki. I really like this theme because it is lite. Everything is smooth and fast. Let say when I want to open the Main Menu, in just a snap, the Main Menu is open. Previous theme that I use was take about 1 second to open but this theme is cool. Very fast! I am so impressed!

Here are another screenshots taken from the author website.

There is a bug I found in this theme. When you choose “Digital” in the clock display settings, you will see another digits behind the clock. But when you choose “Analog”, it display correctly. Perhaps this only happen in Symbian60 3rd Edition. I am not sure.

If you want to use this theme, you can download it here. Install it using your PC Suite and choose Tango from the theme list.

I found a nice, smart and clean theme from Nokia N95 Blog. That theme is use on N95 phone but I can run it on my Nokia N73 Music Edition. No worries. It support Nokia that uses Symbian OS s60.

This theme name is Dark Teal. You can download the theme from here. Here are some screenshots taken from my phone.

If you want to use this theme, you first need to download the .sis file and upload it to your phone. Don’t worry. You do not need to sign this theme because it is free. After the .sis file has been uploaded, you can use this theme from the Theme menu.

However, if you want a similar theme, you can get at Psiloc Shop. It is called Psiloc Reflect. You can get it at $4.38USD. I don’t think I will pay for a theme unless it is really smart, nice and have custom icons.

I know you will get bored easily if you use the same theme for so many months or years. That is why Nokia give us options to install new themes to our mobile phone. Although there are many websites give us many free themes to download but we are still not satisfy because the themes does not like we want. Solution? Create our own.

OwnSkin is the best website which gives you all things that you need to create your theme. From the background image, clock, signal and battery bars, and to the icons. It is really a great website if you want to develop your own theme for the first time. It also gives you the options to choose the text colour, background colour and the transparency level. Just setup your theme, download it and install it to your phone. And you can share your theme with other members if you want though.

Click here if you want to learn step by step on how to create your Nseries theme using OwnSkin.

If you don’t like using online theme creator, you can use Zensis Theme DIY. But it only supports S60 version 3. This application allows you to create your theme directly from your Nseries phone. Just pick any photo, choose your favourite theme template and store up 12 personalized themes. It is really easy and fast. In short,

Select 1 or the 12 theme spaces to save your theme.

Select a theme template, which is different in text color, icon color etc.

Select a photo as the theme background.

Select Fade-out / Blur effect for menu background, so you can see menu texts more clearly.

Save and apply the theme!

But Zensis Theme DIY is not freeware. You have to pay if you want to use it. But it is worth if you see the features it gives.
